Subject: Who will be... the QUARTERBACK?
The eleventh season of STC's smash hit, "The Quarterback," will this time feature 18 candidates from all walks of life, including both Big Ten graduates and backyard players with no college education.
Before the first play, star and executive producer Scott Graham will split the candidates into two teams of nine. On each play they will endure rigorous physical tests while clashing together on the St. Charles High School practice football field. Prominent athletes were enlisted to participate in many of the plays from scrimmage. These plays will test the candidates intelligence, chutzpah and field-smarts. They will face the challenges of an intense rush and must complete sometimes humorous, but always difficult, passing plays, and above all will be forced to think outside the pocket in order to outshine each other to get to the top.
The competition and the playing field drama will all be taken to the next level during the eleventh season. The candidates will face far more intense defenses and the stakes will be much higher. Scott Graham and his trusted colleagues -- Justin Sandberg and AJ Johnson -- will frame each play, beginning with the huddle and ending with the climactic end zone touchdown. And, each play, one person will hear those dreaded words -- "You're Benched!"
As the winner of the competition, the new "Quarterback" will be granted the dream job of a lifetime with the Where'd Whooooo Go Organization and a hefty six-donut salary.
During its first ten seasons (1994-2004), "The Quarterback" was the #1 bowl game of the gridiron postseason among total viewers and among adults 18-28. An average of 8 people watched each game and dozens have review photos online. "The Quarterback" is the top-rated new series on any football field in ten years in adults 18-28. It is also STC's #1 game of the century. "The Quarterback / HoHo Bowl" is tied with STC's "The Quarterback / Gobble Gobble Bowl" as holiday time's most upscale competition.
